The Leidos Spatial Solutions team has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer with Windows system administration experience to work on cloud-based systems supporting mission critical operations. The team is involved in operation and sustainment of multiple operational cloud deployed geospatial solutions. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have experience with installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of cloud-based systems and administration of Citrix-based desktops in cloud-based environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will involve taking a leadership role in system changes and improvements; working directly with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot and responding to complex user INCs (Incident Reports); proactively recommend configuration changes to help improve system performance; Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments; update critical databases with new data; author and update operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire
- DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
- Windows administration experience
- Experience completing security remediation tasks based on security scans
- Citrix administration experience
- Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
- Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
- Experience with AWS architectures and technologies
- Familiar with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.)
- Familiar with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools
- Familiar with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.)
- Familiar with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe Agile Certification
- Experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial products
- Citrix certification(s)
- AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer)
