Senior Proposal Manager

Passero Associates has an excellent opportunity and growth potential for a full-time Senior Proposal Manager to join their Marketing team. This position is based in the firm's Rochester, New York office and works directly with, and reports to, the company's Marketing Director. This candidate will possess a depth of sales procurement experience and has a strong sense of business development and marketing knowledge in the AEC industry, working closely with architects, engineers, planners, and technical staff.

Role and Responsibilities
- Work closely with firm management and project managers to develop deadline-sensitive qualifications packages (SOQs/RFPs/RFQs) and award submissions.
- Manage all aspects of sales requests to disseminate client solicitations across business units, which include allocating internal resources, monitoring assignments through delivery, preparing and leading team kick-off calls, quality control reviews, and tracking results.
- Generate, lead, and support proposal development on a regular basis.
- Serve as an intermediary with the Marketing Director on all matters of sales, including scanning for regional bid opportunities and participating in the department's "Go/No-Go" process.
- Assist and prepare sales reports by tracking, analyzing, and summarizing CRM data within Cosential to inform our leadership team and align marketing strategies.
- Advance the department's program management in sales with best-practices to improve efficiencies, as well as ensure compliance with company brand standards.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the firm's clientele, internal business objectives, company policies and procedures. Thorough understanding of AEC industry terminology and project delivery methods, including:
- Design-bid-build
- Design-build
- Owners Representative
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) software to accomplish tasks.
- Write, edit and compile content from various sources into cohesive marketing materials including cover letters, resumes, boilerplate content, and project descriptions.
- Conduct research, coordinate subconsultant materials, customize/maintain project profiles and team information.
- Assist with other marketing duties as requested.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field with 8+ years of experience preferred; A/E firm experience is required.
- Cosential/Unanet CRM experience is required, Deltek Vantagepoint knowledge is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and work well with a variety of staff.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Capable of working productively in a team setting and independently.
- A strong work ethic, flexibility and a creative approach to problem solving are essential.
- Must be able to adjust to multiple, concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Focused on quality deliverables that are highly accurate and meticulous attention to detail.
- Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) or technical/design certification is a plus.
