medicinal/pharmaceutical chemistry

to join their
IP Patents Group
in
Raleigh (link removed) This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team of lawyers and patent agents, each with advanced degrees in life sciences.
Candidate Profile:
Ph.D.
in
medicinal chemistry ,
organic chemistry , or a
closely related discipline (link removed)> Admission to the USPTO is preferred, but not required.
Strong technical, writing, and organizational skills , with exceptional attention to detail.
Recent graduates
with
relevant academic backgrounds
and
technical expertise
are welcome to apply.
Previous experience in patent law is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with inventors to identify and document innovative technologies.
Draft and prosecute patent applications related to medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Coordinate the prosecution of patent applications in multiple jurisdictions.
Conduct prior art searches to assess the patentability of inventions.
Prepare detailed reports and support documentation for managing patent portfolios.
Engage with clients to deliver strategic patent advice tailored to their specific needs.
