Unit Description Med/Surg Tele Float - COVID UNIT -Certs: BLS required -2 years Med Surg/Tele experience required -travel experience required -teaching facility experience highly preferred -Ratios: average is 1:5-6, nights will be 1:6-7, could be more depending on acuity (No cap) -Floating: First to Float and must be willing to float -May cancel 3 shifts during a 13 week assignment. May cancel 2 shifts if less than a 13 week assignment -Strong IV Skills preferred -5 West: 36 Beds, 12 private and 24 double occupancy, 1 negative pressure room -5 West types of patients: Chest pain rule outs, Psych- SI, Altered MS, Renal -5 East: 46 beds -5 East types of patients: Chest pain, new onset of Afib, pacemaker, cardiac abnormalities, CHF, renal failure, pneumonia, COPD. -6 East: 44 beds, double occupancy -6 East type of patients: Acute Kidney, Dialysis, Wound Care, Psych holds
