Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:
Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications using WCF and VB.NET.
Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.
Service Integration:
Implement and optimize web services using WCF for seamless communication between systems.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services as needed.
Code Optimization:
Perform code reviews and optimize application performance.
Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
Maintenance and Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, UI/UX, and DevOps.
Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in VB.NET and WCF development.
Proficient in .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET.
Experience with database design and development (SQL Server, T-SQL).
Familiarity with source control tools like Git or TFS.
Experience:
8+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-level applications and service-oriented architecture.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
