Roles are now available, and we are also happy to partner with independent contract carers who love being self-employed but also love having regular secure work by partnering with a larger service provider.

Job Description

Support Workers/Care Team required to join our growing care team for our clients all across Melbourne - including Fairfield surrounding suburbs in Melbourne's Inner North East.

Multiple shift types are available, and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required by the client.

The upcoming summer holiday period has increased our client demand for support workers' services, including social/community access etc.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, we require you to hold:

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care (preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory or willing to complete)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate and CPR (preferred)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation module (mandatory or willing to complete)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence

Competencies and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
  • Previous experience of supporting People with disabilities
  • Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and organise your own work/caseload
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice

Pay rates vary based on the day of the week & shift type, but rest assured we like to recognise our carers' skills & experience. Our Support Worker rates typically exceed the SCHADS award rates + penalties.
