LCMS Scientist II

Job Description Perform routine and non-routine testing; may develop solutions for basic technical problems. Assists in the implementation of new technologies or approaches. Occasional contact with customer technical personnel to effectively coordinate laboratory studies. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrate technical writing skills. Informs supervisor and interacts with peers in a clear, timely and professional manner. Interpretation of data. Sound foundation and understanding of theory, instrumentation, and troubleshooting in multiple techniques. Executes routine laboratory procedures and methods with minimal errors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or closely related physical science from a four-year college/university or equivalent education and training. Master’s degree and >2 years related experience or Bachelor’s degree and >4 years related experience. Preference for candidates with proven experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LCMS) analysis of biomolecules. Additional Information: Budget salary range of this position is $75,000 - $85,000 based on related experience. Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
