We are currently looking for our: Senior Business Analyst - Leasing Applications & Reporting Solutions What we offer We are looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative Sr. Business Analyst to play a critical role in working closely with the Application Engineering team and other Westfield departments to understand business needs, translate them into requirements for development, test and coordinate acceptance and launch of solutions that solve those needs. The Sr. Business Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager, IT. Our culture embraces creativity, diversity and progression, nurturing everyone we work with to reach the top of their profession. In this role, your main missions are: Drive the software development effort by acting as the voice of the user to define and clarify requirements with the development team through continual team collaboration, business acceptance testing, making quality decisions, and taking responsibility for the overall development team success. Interface and understand the needs of multiple stakeholders. Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications. Drive user acceptance testing by creating test scenarios, documenting issues and working with the development team to resolve and leading test sessions with business users. Develop new ideas by challenging business owners and subject matter experts on their assumptions and how their proposed requirements will successfully meet their business goals while identifying potential solutions to business needs by applying technical and non-technical analysis. Provide support to application support team as the subject matter expert and participate in root cause analyses for system bugs reported. Document systems changes needed to address issues identified and facilitate resolution with IT development team. Conduct training on an as-needed basis and write and maintain supporting training documentation. Draft end-user communication including monthly newsletter, release notes, etc., ensuring all posted material is current. Support team members in the daily activities and operations of projects and data management, as needed. What we are looking for Bachelor’s level degree in a relevant field and minimum 5-7 years relevant experience. Strong ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized and flexible. Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and documenting business processes. Experience in facilitating evaluation of business requirements for business application integration and delivering new or modified system enhancements. Experience with Salesforce, Business Objects and/or Tableau. Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, ServiceNow, and Jira. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
