In 2024 we’ll be focused on building robust People systems and processes that enable us to develop and scale our culture to deliver our strategic priorities and support exceptional performance across all global teams. About the Role: As a Senior People Business Partner, you will partner directly with leadership to build a scalable organization while positively impacting the day-to-day experiences of our people. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the effectiveness of the organization by driving people retention programs and providing guidance to leaders across the company. In this role, you will cultivate strong performance and engagement, coach managers, enable clear team communication and feedback, and drive organizational plans that deliver on business goals. What You’ll Do: Develop trusted relationships with managers within Sales teams to create strategy and drive organizational change. Support managers through core People processes, such as annual compensation reviews, growth reviews, and ongoing performance management. Provide coaching and guidance to Sales leadership to maintain a positive employee experience that offers challenging yet fulfilling work and a clear path for professional development. Help managers address performance issues early and navigate complex employee relations matters, conducting effective investigations when needed. Evaluate and recommend changes surrounding performance management, employee relations, career/leadership development, compensation, and retention. Develop programs and processes supporting the learning, career growth, and mobility aspirations of employees. Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Provide HR policy recommendations, guidance, and interpretation. Drive diversity practices to foster an inclusive, supportive environment. Provide strategic direction for the People Business Partner team. Play a critical role in shaping our culture and influencing employee experiences at AlphaSense. Who You Are: 8-10+ years experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a high-growth tech company. Experience supporting Sales teams. Strong foundation and knowledge of HR principles, including employment law and compliance requirements. Ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex issues. Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured environment. Team player who acts with urgency and adapts to a fast-paced environment. Strong ethics, discretion, and sound judgment with sensitive information. Proactive attitude with a desire to continuously learn and grow. Strong communicator with the ability to drive organizational change. Obsessed with retention by creating sustainable, scalable organizations. Highly empathetic and builds trust. Ability to analyze data to inform workforce strategy and planning. Ability to facilitate discussions around change and transformation. Strong customer service attitude toward employees and managers. Base Compensation Range:
$125,000 - $140,000 Additional Components:
Performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program. *For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location and candidate experience/expertise.
