15+ years Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Role Summary: Responsibilities: Lead and manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure the successful execution of initiatives. Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, traders, operations teams, and colleagues to design software solutions that align with business requirements. Develop scalable and efficient solutions that cater to client technology preferences while supporting the introduction of new trading functionalities. Provide knowledge transfer to team members through application demonstrations, walkthroughs, and comprehensive documentation. Key Skills & Experience: Technical Expertise: Over 15 years of experience in AngularJS development. Strong expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Neptune, and Elastic/OpenSearch. Communication & Client Management: Exceptional communication skills with proven success in client-facing roles. Skilled at managing client expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Industry Experience: Extensive experience (15+ years) in developing and integrating enterprise applications in the financial services sector is highly preferred. Strong background in web services and API integration to enhance application and process connectivity. Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience with Agile or Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies. DevOps & CI/CD: Solid understanding and practical experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jira and Confluence.
