Software and Services The Apple Services Engineering team is one of the most exciting examples of Apple’s passion for combining art and technology. These are the people who power the Apple Music, App Store, Apple TV, Apple Fitness+, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books and more. They build secure, end-to-end solutions and develop custom software used to process all the creative work, tools for providers to deliver media, server-side systems, and APIs for many Apple services. These engineers partner to get behind a unified vision that includes a deep dedication to strengthening Apple’s privacy policy. Description We are seeking a hard-working, expert senior full stack software engineer primarily focusing on web development with a passion for architecture design, delivering visionary solutions, and improving the technical ecosystem. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define and develop robust front-end architectural frameworks that support both our current and future media platforms. You'll tackle challenges related to sophisticated integrations, data modeling, and high-scale infrastructure, ensuring all aspects of our products align with Apple's standards of quality and security. Your work will focus on optimizing technical performance, streamlining processes, and driving innovation, allowing our teams to deliver transformative user experiences. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 8 years experience in web development. Solid foundation in front-end technologies (Svelte, React, Angular). Proven experience in crafting and architecting large-scale systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. Proficiency with RESTful API development and integration. Strong experience with data modeling, working with relational and NoSQL databases. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. Ability to collaborate and influence multi-functional teams, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on results and a drive towards innovation. Additional Requirements At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
