About the Role
The Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team plays a vital role in our operational success in the distribution aspect of the business. Being able to identify risk of equipment failure and eliminate the presence of that risk is what our organization strives for. Seeking a proactive Reliability Program leader and technical expert for Fulfilment Center operations. This role will focus on maximizing life, reliability and operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, robotics, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs. Drive and promote safety culture within the site including subcontractors, suppliers and visitors Serve as the local technical expert on maintaining material handling systems Own the inventory and maintenance planning program for the site including the accuracy and efficiency of the preventative/predictive maintenance program to include the execution of daily planning meetings with local planners and local maintenance leadership (Sr Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, Area Maintenance Managers) Responsible for driving quality execution of preventative/predictive maintenance program with team including routine auditing of PMs and corrective work Partner with local maintenance leadership (Sr Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, Area Maintenance Managers) for alignment on reliability standards and their role in execution of those standards; seek routine feedback to adjust processes as required to support teams in execution Champion the development, technical assessment and sustainment of a skills matrix for local maintenance team to leverage for work assignment Develop/Improve maintenance procedures to streamline work execution, improve work quality and deliver optimal equipment efficiencies Establish and monitor equipment reliability metrics (including OEE) and partner with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize work and improvements Lead the Root Cause Analysis and Permanent Corrective Action activities at the site Develop and manage a ‘bad-actor/top offender’ program for the site and perform regular deep dives/data analytics to outline and execute improvement plans Oversee all newly installed equipment and major equipment overhauls that may occur at site Deliver minimum of two CI projects per year that deliver cost savings to the client Serve as the primary conduit for both upward and downward communication with the Central Reliability Team and support regional efforts as growth opportunities Own budget tracking and support senior maintenance leader in delivering YoY cost savings Create, deploy, and share best practices at facility and share with other sites Provide technical support on proactive and reactive work as required Travel up to 25% Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office Experience required using CMMS systems and reporting Strong analytical skills to deep dive into data Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas Support 24/7 emergency on-call as required Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer/Manager or equivalent 5+ years of experience with team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/customer relations CMRP/PMP certification(s) Prefer experience managing teams in an industrial environment containing conveyance, process control and powered trucks. Experience with Preventive maintenance procedures, Industrial electrical, Industrial controls, and Industrial electronics & robotics Experience with leading and delivering technical training Experience with applying Lean Manufacturing tools such as: 5S 5Y FMEA PDCA Value Stream Mapping DMAIC Run Charts RCA/Cause Mapping Pareto Analysis Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability Ability to lead others in a technical role and interact with all levels of management Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others Strong organizational and project management skills Strong communication and presentation/facilitation skills Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution Physical Demands
Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 pounds Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces Location:
