ReWire Group is a forward-thinking company delivering innovative zero-energy solutions to tackle market challenges through advanced energy systems, energy modeling, financial analysis, and software engineering. Key Initiatives: Zero Energy Operating System (ZEOS): Integrated energy management platform Decarbonization and Regulatory Compliance: assist portfolio clients in NYC address compliance issues related to Local Laws 97 and 88. About the Role Join a mission-driven team designing, modeling, and implementing cutting-edge energy systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer with technical expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for sustainability. Salary & Benefits: $85,000-$110,000 based on experience Medical & Retirement Plans available Impactful sustainability-driven projects Hybrid work environment with NY State travel for site reviews, meetings and collaboration Professional growth opportunities Key Responsibilities Conduct ASHRAE Level I-III energy audits Support energy efficiency and decarbonization projects aligned with NYC Local Law 97 Perform technical analysis and calculations for ECMs, including HVAC upgrades, renewables, and electrification Develop proposals, reports, and presentations with cross-functional teams Serve as SME on renewable energy, smart building solutions, and demand response systems Perform Measurement & Verification (M&V) of energy savings and support ongoing commissioning Assist with energy incentive applications and develop tailored strategies Manage or support project tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to optimize energy management systems Contribute to the design and deployment of ZEOS, our proprietary energy management platform based on skillset Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Systems Engineering, or related field Desired, but not Required Certifications: Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or similar Experience: Energy engineering, modeling, or related discipline Skills: Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQuest, REopt), renewable energy systems, and energy efficiency principles Bonus: Financial analysis or project management experience for energy projects Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Passion: Commitment to sustainability, decarbonization and zero-energy solutions For more details on this role contact: Miriam Dushane, She/Her/Hers, Managing Partner, miriam.dushane@alaant.com, 518-689-3138 Alaant Workforce Solutions wants all interested applicants to know we hire a diverse workforce and are actively recruiting candidates in accordance with diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity policies.
