Job Summary The CT Technologist performs technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS. About This Role We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to be a part of our team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will contribute to our success by performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform CT scans on patients using various protocols and techniques Position patients appropriately and safely for imaging procedures Regulate equipment used to expose the x-ray image Process and organize images in PACS Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments Qualifications Registered Computerized Tomography Technologist through ARRT preferred Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist Associate Degree from an accredited Radiology Technology Program Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Benefits HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, life, career, and retirement of our colleagues.
