BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician needed near Meads, KY starting as soon as credentialed. Shift Times: 12 hours shifts, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a Minimum # of Shifts/Month: 6 Length of Need: 6+ Months Physician Coverage Model: 48 hours daily APP Coverage Model: 48 hours daily Additional Coverage Information: MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist. Total Beds: 455 ED Volume: 65,000 ED/Fast Track Bed Count: 52 ER beds (49 main ED, 2 Trauma, 1 Psych) Specialty Back Up: All specialty backup available, except for Opthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery EMR: EPIC Additional Facility/Job Details: New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction and opening late 2024-25, 24-hour Cath Lab, Scribes work alongside physicians, Additional 10-bed overflow unit Must have Active KY License & DEA Life Certification Requirements: BE MUST have ATLS, ACLS, PALS and BLS, BC MUST have ATLS and PALS no exceptions and no extensions for expired certifications must be current.
