Perform complex technical analysis, develop, and administer the statewide and federal grant solicitations and funding opportunities by coordinating and monitoring all incoming and outgoing grant activity and reporting requirements. Reviews and manages grant funding by monitoring and analyzing grants awarded by using various computer applications, data and communication platforms to evaluate alternatives, make recommendations or identify any changes in circumstances affecting timelines, fiscal resources, or objective grant elements. Evaluate and ensure grant requirements are met by ensuring awardees meet the contractual obligation in the reporting evaluation form and deadlines meet deliverables. Develop and draft written grant agreement revisions, provide alternatives and make recommendations to mitigate outstanding grant issues. Coordinate any proposed modifications to grants to avoid non-compliance and advise management on the impact or potential impact. Analyze, assess, monitor, and reconcile grant expenditures and final award closeouts by preparing quarterly and final reports to ensure invoices are submitted timely and in accordance with grant requirements. The incumbent shall foster and establish effective communications within DAS, including DAS management and staff, other DAS units branches and other governments agencies, partners and entities external to DAS. Working Conditions This position is located at: 320 W. Fourth St. RM 950 Los Angeles, CA 90013 The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Air conditioned, multiple floor building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Most of the time, the incumbent will work in the DAS offices or other locations throughout California as needed, may be required to work out of home via telework, if provided with proper office equipment. This position may require some local and intrastate travel. Travel from DAS office in Sacramento to Oakland Office or other DAS offices as needed. Travel may require overnight stays, weekends, and the willingness to work flexible hours that are necessary to meet the business needs of the division.
