Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packer to join our team. The Packer will be responsible for carefully packing, labeling, and preparing items for safe transport and storage. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to providing top-quality service. As a Packer, you will work closely with other team members to ensure customer belongings are securely packed and handled with care. Key Responsibilities: Packing & Protection: Safely and efficiently pack a variety of items, including fragile and valuable belongings, to ensure they are protected during transport or storage. Labeling: Clearly label all packed items, noting the contents and room of origin for easy identification during unpacking. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all packed items, documenting each box and its contents in the company's inventory system. Quality Control: Inspect items for any pre-existing damage and report any issues before packing. Teamwork: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient packing and loading processes. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, answering any questions they may have about the packing process. Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols and ensure that packed items are handled in a way that prevents damage or injury. Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure all items are packed securely and labeled correctly. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines. Experience: Previous experience in packing, moving, logistics, or restoration services is a plus but not required. Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve packing challenges that may arise during the process. Skills & Abilities: Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle packing materials and tools safely and effectively.
