Tig Welder / Mig Welder Location: City of Industry, CA. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:15pm - 1:00am (4/10 work week) P ay: $23.00 Job Description: Welding Tig 90% of the time, using foot pedal Welding Mig 10% of the time and other welding methods Have knowledge and skill to weld Stainless, aluminize steel, galvanized metals, hot rolled and cold rolled steel Ability to use measuring instruments Gauge varies but most commonly 14 G Under shop supervision, accurately and efficiently fabricate weldments and structures per blueprint and sketch specifications Layout cut and fit details and assemblies from raw material. Weld and inspect in accordance with customer, company and certification standards specifications Check and inspect all details, assemblies and finished product for conformance to blueprint, sketch dimensions Requirements: Minimum of 2 years in Tig and Mig Welding Have experience with 14, 16, 18, 22 gages Have acute vision, depth perception with accommodation, good field of vision Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols and drawing
