This hybrid role is a unique opportunity to blend your expertise in non-profit audits, 990 tax, and audit review, contributing to the success of our clients and our firm. Lead and manage audit engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectations.2. Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts.3. Prepare and review 990 tax returns for non-profit organizations.4. Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control.5. Identify accounting and auditing issues; suggest solutions to complex financial reporting problems.6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and to understand how changes in their business impact their financial statements.7. Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members, and participate in performing procedures, especially focusing on complex, judgmental, and specialized issues.8. Collaborate with team members to set goals and responsibilities, provide support for them to continually learn and improve, and drive them towards the overall success of the team and firm.9. Contribute to the development and execution of the audit plan and oversee the day-to-day operations of the audit.10. Continually build and nurture an external network and leverage it effectively to find opportunities for new client engagements.Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audits.3. Demonstrated expertise in non-profit audits and 990 tax.4. Proven ability to lead and manage audit engagements.5. Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS regulations and procedures.6. Proficient in audit review with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.7. Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.8. Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.9. Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.10. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.11. Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as needed.
