Grandview Medical Center is hiring a strong Registered Nurse for our OB Emergency Department! The ideal OB ED RN candidate will have a wide degree of creativity and latitude in order to coordinate and provide nursing care for high acuity women's health patients in a fast-paced environment. *This position will cover 12hr day shifts on an as needed basis. Responsibilities:
* Providing triage care to OB patients. * Implement, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition with regards to patient care plans * Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. * Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. * Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with other members of the healthcare team. * Be able to think critically in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Requirements:
* Associates degree and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse. * Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required. * Minimum of 3 years experience in Labor & Delivery required.
