Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and personable HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations to join our client's dynamic team. This role will be integral in fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting effective communication. In addition, the HR Generalist will manage a variety of HR functions, including HRIS maintenance, onboarding and offboarding, compliance, and benefits administration. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues while maintaining confidentiality. Partner with management to address performance issues, provide coaching, and facilitate conflict resolution. Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in alignment with company policies and legal requirements. HRIS Maintenance: Manage and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Generate reports and analyze data to support HR initiatives and decision-making. Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires. Facilitate exit interviews and manage offboarding procedures to gather insights and maintain compliance. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update employee handbooks and policies to reflect current legal requirements. Benefits Administration: Support employees in understanding and accessing benefits. Assist in open enrollment processes and coordinate with benefits vendors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations. PHR certification preferred. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
