We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Human Resources for a client. This is an onsite facility role. Relocation support is available if required. This role will lead and support our human capital efforts at the factory level. This leadership role will be integral in addressing business challenges and developing people-focused solutions to achieve business objectives. As a member of the leadership team, the Director of HR will work closely with key stakeholders to drive HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a close business partner to the facility management and leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of the strategy. Drive talent management strategies, including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, employee development, engagement, diversity and inclusion, and retention efforts. Develop and implement strategies to maintain a positive employee relations environment and preserve the non-union status. Design and implement people policies and procedures in alignment with corporate policies and ethical standards. Recommend and implement actions to strengthen organizational design and effectiveness. Lead and develop an effective HR team to provide excellent service to the factory. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency across all HR functions. Provide change management leadership to proactively assess and address the needs of the factory. Lead Employee Relations efforts focusing on communication, retention, and engagement. Provide coaching and guidance on disciplinary actions and ensure consistency and effectiveness in handling employee performance issues. Align HR activities with the vision and mission of the business unit. Qualifications: 10 years of successful HR leadership experience in a facility or plant setting Extensive knowledge of HR systems and HR management practices. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven ability to resolve customer-related issues, drive process improvements, and improve operational efficiency. Experience in navigating matrix environments and balancing local market needs with corporate priorities. Demonstrated success in delivering corporate HR programs and ensuring their integration and acceptance at the local level.
