Senior Data Analyst

Position: Senior Data Analyst Location: Coppell, TX Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial datasets to uncover trends and provide actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain dynamic, user-friendly dashboards using Power BI to monitor key financial metrics. Advanced Excel Usage: Leverage advanced Excel capabilities such as VBA, Pivot Tables, and Power Query for efficient data analysis and reporting. Data Management: Ensure accuracy and consistency by organizing and cleaning financial data from various sources. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance leadership to understand and meet reporting requirements through customized solutions. Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and automate recurring tasks. Financial Forecasting Support: Provide analytical support for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Ad Hoc Reporting: Deliver customized reports and analysis to address immediate business needs and support decision-making. Qualifications: 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, particularly within finance or accounting. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in Power BI for creating and maintaining detailed financial dashboards. Expertise in advanced Excel techniques (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) for modeling and reporting purposes. Solid understanding of core financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs. Hands-on experience with FP&A tools and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), with a track record of optimizing financial reporting and planning workflows. Proficient in querying and managing datasets using SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Skilled in generating insightful financial reports to support organizational objectives.
