ABOUT SEVEN BARRELS: Seven Barrels is a gourmet balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil company selling the premium craft cooking oils based in Tuxedo Park, NY. We are an online only retailer selling our products only on 7barrels.com we also set up in person booths selling our products at food festivals, art shows, and regional events along the east coast. We provide products of the highest quality, and are looking to communicate that to our growing customer base, and are in need of a marketing manager to help us grow our online presence through social media marketing, email marketing, and by managing our shopify website. JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced Marketing manager who will take full responsibility of our digital growth, paid advertising, and email marketing. You will be responsible for managing daily social media content across Facebook, and Instagram. Paid advertising platforms such as facebook ads, and google ads. You will also be responsible for email and SMS marketing through Yotpo. This is a highly demanding role, where you’ll be expected to handle strategy, execution and content creation on a daily basis. If you thrive on challenge, love gourmet cooking and food, and can deliver consistent results, this job is for you. Your expertise must span digital marketing, ecommerce, social media strategy, brand design, and ecommerce growth. You will report directly to the owners Mark and Paul, working closely with them to create social media content, and marketing material that converts Seven Barrels online audience into buyers. We expect you to come with up to date knowledge on social media marketing in the food industry, ideas for marketing campaigns, and experience in executing multi level marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising. Specifically this person should have marketing expertise in the online food industry and ecommerce across digital platforms including but not limited to: • Social media content creation and management on Facebook and Instagram • Email marketing - Building out emails and campaigns from start to finish (This includes designing the emails and writing content for the emails) • SMS Marketing for direct response marketing for customers who have signed up for our text message alerts • Project management skills for managing outside vendors and freelancers we work with • Paid advertising management and creation for Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads (This includes setup, creation and management of all 3 platforms.) • Digital retargeting ads for Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads • Website strategy and the ability to make updates to a Shopify website (This includes having working knowledge of how Shopify Liquid code works, HTML, and CSS Code) • Ecommerce Sales (You will be responsible for creating promotions, discounts, and campaigns to increase ecommerce sales) • Managing influencer marketing, and video creation for UGC videos, paid ads, and for website updates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop, own, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Seven Barrels, brand, online platforms, and products. • Oversee all marketing channels, including email campaigns, social media, website management, and paid advertising. • Manage ecommerce strategies with the clear goal of increasing revenue through our website. • Drive growth of our customer base beyond the east coast and create engaging social media content that brings in new customers through innovative campaigns and retention strategies. • Create and implement performance-driven marketing initiatives that achieve measurable outcomes. • Work with influencers to drive brand reach, ensuring seamless integration and maximum ROI. • Produce and oversee high-quality content in collaboration with the owners, aligned with company goals. • Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitors to consistently refine and optimize our approach. • Manage the marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and maximizing ROI. • Track, analyze, and present data on key marketing performance indicators regularly, making adjustments as needed. REQUIREMENTS: • Passion for gourmet food, cooking, and wellness: This is non-negotiable. You must embody the brand values and mission in your work • Proven success in digital marketing: You should have a strong portfolio of growing brands and ecommerce success across social media marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising. • Strategic leadership with hands-on execution: You’ll need to wear multiple hats and pivot quickly. • Attention to detail and results-driven mindset: We are a growth-focused company, and every campaign must deliver value. • Creativity matched by analytical thinking: While innovation is key, results must drive your decisions. • Relentless focus on growth: Our goal is not just to maintain but to expand aggressively. • Extreme ownership: You are accountable for your quality of work, performance, and the brand’s marketing success. • Communication skills: You’ll need to clearly convey ideas and strategies, especially in collaboration with Mark, Paul, and other vendors we work with. • Prioritization: Projects should be completed in a timely manner and you should take responsibility for making sure there is nothing left open ended for an extended period of time. SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE NEEDED: • A minimum of 4 years experience in graphic design, digital marketing, and ecommerce. • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) • Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as (MailChimp, Klaviyo, or Yotpo) We use Yotpo to send out all of our email campaigns and SMS campaigns • Proficiency in running Facebook ads, Instagram Ads through Facebook Business Suite and managing ongoing campaigns • Proficiency in running Google Ads campaigns (Search based ads, Product Ads, Retargeting Ads, SEO based ads) • Proficiency in updating Shopify websites including making website layout updates, updating product listing, updating custom pages, updating a custom Shopify theme • Proficiency in order management and inventory management through Shopify • The ability to educate and inform others on how digital marketing improvements will increase revenue and customer satisfaction. MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE: • 4 years in a marketing role with a proven track record of driving ecommerce growth. • 4 years of experience in ecommerce with a focus on direct-to-consumer food retail. • 4 years of design experience. This is a design heavy role that will require you to make custom graphics, social media posts, and ads for facebook and instagram. If you do not have a background in design or creating ads please do not apply to this position. • Leadership in a high-growth environment: You must have led marketing in a fast-paced company. • Experience in food, ecommerce, and email marketing.
