Mastering digital convergence at enterprise scale. Entech is hiring an Automation Tester for a financial services client. This is a hybrid role that involves working onsite in Malvern, PA - 3 days per week. Responsibilities Seeking an Automation Tester to join ETF team and ensure the quality and reliability of an AWS cloud application built in Python. This application ETF and leverages Aurora as its primary database. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, cloud environments, and database testing. Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for an AWS-based Python application. Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Test and validate the integration of the Aurora database with the application. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Optimize and scale automated testing frameworks for cloud-based applications. Use CI/CD tools to integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline. Monitor and analyze application logs during testing for issues. Qualifications 5 years of experience in automation testing for cloud-based applications. Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation. Strong experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, S3, and Aurora databases. Familiarity with ETF operations and financial domain concepts (preferred but not mandatory). Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Pytest, JUnit etc). Expertise in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing. Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub etc). Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Nice-to-Have: (not required, but an extra plus if you have the experience) Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Exposure to cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch). Familiarity with ETF-related regulations and compliance testing. We are looking for candidates willing to work directly on our W2. No Corp-to-Corp.
