Our client, a dynamic private equity investor with offices in Fairfield County, Connecticut, has partnered with us to identify a talented Operating Partner for their industry-agnostic operating team. Hired candidate will work in a home/in-office hybrid model and travel extensively and regularly to covered portfolio companies. Responsibilities Include: Deep collaboration with investment team members, operating team peers and management teams in creating, executing and monitoring value creation plans for multiple portfolio companies Creation and execution of solutions to financial and operational inefficiencies Managing relationships across the CFO function at assigned companies. This includes coaching, talent development, succession planning, talent gap analysis and needs assessment functions and KPI adherence. Establishment/augmentation of robust best practices in planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting Quarterbacking of portfolio company performance analysis and reporting Designing and executing financial and operational integration strategies specific to add-on acquisitions Financial due diligence leadership specific to both platform and add-on acquisitions Ability to leverage third-party service providers effectively while bringing economies of scale to these relationships across the portfolio Required Experience for Consideration: 12 years of experience as a repeat, private equity-backed company CFO w/a track record of leadership through successful transactions (acquisitions, value creation and exit) or as a PE Operating Partner. Functional leadership experience will span planning, analysis, reporting, financial transformation and integration. Desired experience across multiple transaction types: carve-outs, restructurings, leveraged buyouts and growth equity situations Enthusiasm for the rigors of a PE culture with continuous focus on transformation and results Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to motivate senior leaders Strong technology skills including ERP systems Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the US Ability to work 1-2 days per week in office (Connecticut) Expected annual base compensation range is expected to be in the $250k-$350k range depending on experience, plus bonus.
