Company Overview: Our client is an Austin based Private Equity fund focused across Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Green investments. They are hiring for an Associate to join the Infrastructure Fund focused across a range of sectors including Power & Utilities, Renewables, Infrastructure, LNG, and Energy Transition. The position is located in Austin, Texas. Position Overview: We are seeking a driven and highly motivated Associate to join our team within the Infrastructure Fund. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in investment banking to transition into private equity. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and execute investments across the infrastructure sector, specifically in Power & Utilities, Renewables, Infrastructure, LNG, and Energy Transition. Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and market research to support investment decisions. Participate in structuring deals, preparing presentations, and liaising with senior team members, portfolio companies, and external stakeholders. Assist in portfolio management and ongoing performance monitoring of investments. Collaborate with a small, high-impact team, gaining exposure to all aspects of the investment process. Contribute to strategic initiatives and support the firm's growth across all infrastructure fund strategies. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience at an investment bank, with a strong foundation in financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation. Experience in energy, power, utilities, or infrastructure is preferred, but we are open to candidates with a broader finance background. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. A proven track record of working independently, as well as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. A genuine interest in infrastructure and energy transition sectors. Austin, Texas-based or willing to relocate.
