Title: Appian Developer Location: West Chester, PA (Hybrid – 3 days/week from office) Duration: 12 months We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement robust business process management (BPM) applications using the Appian platform . The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that meet business objectives and enhance operational workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement BPM applications using Appian software . Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and customize interfaces, process models, rules, and forms within the Appian environment . Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot application issues. Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability. Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures. Provide post-deployment support and resolve production issues. Stay up-to-date with Appian best practices and emerging technologies. Mentor junior developers and assist with code reviews when necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions using the Appian platform . Proficiency in Appian SAIL , Appian plugins , and custom integrations . Experience with SQL databases , web services (SOAP/REST) , and integration tools. Strong understanding of BPM principles and workflow automation . Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies . Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and team collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills: Appian Certified Developer (Preferred but not mandatory). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) . Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools . Familiarity with Java or other backend programming languages.
