Senior Manager Warehouse Operations

Purpose: Lead and oversee the efficient and effective operations of multiple regional and satellite warehouses, ensuring optimal inventory management, employee productivity, and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Management: Supervise and coordinate all warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Implement and maintain best practices in warehouse organization, safety, and efficiency. Develop and implement 5S methodologies across all warehouse locations. Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory records and locations. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery. Inventory Management: Implement and manage inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and audits. Minimize inventory discrepancies and optimize inventory levels. Employee Management: Supervise, train, and develop a high-performing warehouse team. Recruit, hire, and onboard new warehouse employees. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback. Ensure employee safety and compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA). Operational Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to improve results. Drive continuous improvement in warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and space utilization. Safety & Compliance: Develop and implement a robust warehouse safety program. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety training and inspections. Technology & Systems: Proficient in NetSuite WMS and other relevant warehouse management systems. Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 7 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (NetSuite WMS preferred). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
