Procurement Specialist

Minimum Qualifications 3 years of Strategic Sourcing experience, including RFQ/RFP execution Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel , Power Bi. Experience in calculating Total Cost of Ownership for goods and services, especially as it pertains to making Sourcing decisions Experience working within ERP system, preferably SAP Ariba Oil & Gas Industry Experience Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Procurement Specialist. The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for tasks such as managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and utilizing analytical skills to support the procurement process. Responsibilities Develop, leads and implement sourcing activities for field operations focusing on Equipment Repair & Maintenance, Welding, Fabrication & Machining and general MRO categories Leads, facilitates, and implements sourcing activities through a combination of tactical and strategic sourcing initiatives Provides the evaluation of vendor quotations utilizing appropriate negotiation and sourcing analysis techniques and implementation of proper contracts with emphasis on quality, delivery, total cost, and service necessary to meet requirements. Execute Spend Analysis and discuss sourcing opportunities with stakeholders Negotiate multi-year commercial conditions with suppliers Education Requirements - 4-year Degree is required Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business, or Supply Chain Management or similar discipline Preferred Qualifications Prior knowledge and experience working in SAP Ariba Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification Experience negotiating and developing supplier relationship on Equipment Repair & Maintenance, Welding, Fabrication & Machining and general MRO categories
