Corporate Sustainability Manager Location: Boca Raton, Florida Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 About the Company: Our client, a leading player in the wireless communications infrastructure sector, is looking for a dynamic Corporate Sustainability Manager to join their team. Role Overview: As the Corporate Sustainability Manager , you will be at the forefront of shaping and implementing sustainability strategies. Your work will involve setting sustainability goals, leading initiatives that drive long-term value, and overseeing the preparation of the annual Sustainability Report in alignment with ESG standards and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: Sustainability Reporting: Lead the creation of the annual Sustainability Report, ensuring compliance with ESG reporting standards and meeting the expectations of internal and external stakeholders. Climate and Emissions Management: Manage climate-risk assessments and emissions accounting to ensure ongoing compliance and verification. Data Analysis: Analyze ESG data (both qualitative and quantitative) to support sustainability goals, including reporting for SEC filings. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional sustainability initiatives that align with and advance the company’s broader sustainability strategy. Performance Monitoring: Track and report progress on sustainability targets and key ESG metrics, while managing related budgets and expenditures. ESG Engagement: Prepare responses for ESG rating agencies and key clients to improve ESG scores and enhance the company’s market positioning. Reporting & Presentations: Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders on sustainability performance and strategic initiatives. Team Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts on the sustainability team. Additional Responsibilities: Take on other ad hoc projects as needed to support the company’s sustainability goals. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Master’s Degree in Sustainability, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with a background in management consulting. Expertise: Strong knowledge of carbon accounting and ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, TNFD, SASB, GRI). Technical Skills: Proficiency in GHG Protocol Standards and familiarity with SBTi Standards. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Travel: Ability to travel domestically up to 10% (approximately one day per month). Certifications: CPA and CFA certifications are preferred, and a valid government-issued driver’s license is required.
