Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and focus on ensuring the quality of our web applications through robust automated testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Selenium or Appium for web application testing, a strong understanding of web technologies, and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences. Key Responsibilities: ● Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or Appium to validate web application functionality, performance, and security. ● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test cases. ● Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. ● Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect-tracking system. ● Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. ● Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report on the quality of the application. ● Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools for test automation. Required Skills and Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ● 3 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on web applications. ● Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for test automation. ● Experience with Appium for testing web apps (optional but a plus). ● Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript. ● Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs). ● Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). ● Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI). ● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with cross-browser testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). ● Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). ● Familiarity with version control systems like Git. ● Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). ● ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
