We are seeking an experienced Multi-Family Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale wood-frame multi-family projects in the Orlando area, with budgets up to $200M. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget, while collaborating with contractors, architects, and the client.

Description

  • Lead and manage multiple multi-family construction projects, ensuring all aspects from design to completion meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Create and manage project schedules, providing accurate forecasting and proactive risk management.
  • Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure the selection of the best-fit partners for each project.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Control project budgets and make necessary adjustments to prevent cost overruns.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to the client, including cost tracking and status updates.
  • Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing issues promptly.

Profile

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years focused on multi-family wood-frame projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects with construction costs up to $200M, including overseeing teams, managing budgets, and ensuring project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • A solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
