SOLID WASTE COLLECTION ROUTE DRIVER-

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: STREETS AND SOLID WASTE DIVISIONS

City of Watertown Solid Waste/Streets team has an opening! This is a Full Time Solid Waste Collection Route Driver responsible for collection of residential refuse on established curbside routes. Performs handling and packaging of Recyclable items for shipping to outside vendors and contractors.

Commercial Driver's License required. High school graduation (or HSED equivalent) and one-year experience in basic material handling/collection duties. Must possess and maintain a Commercial Driver's License with B and C endorsements and have an excellent driving record. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Benefits package includes but is not limited to: paid vacation, holiday bank, sick, compensatory pay, medical, dental, vision, income continuation insurance, Wisconsin Retirement System, Flex Spending, Deferred Compensation and regular working hours.

This is a full-time hourly position with hours as listed below:

Hours from 6:00am to 2:00 pm Monday -Friday

Starting compensation starts at $22.16.
