Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist Job Specialty: Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year License: CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP) or equivalent Certifications: Medical Laboratory Science degree required Must-Have: - Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent - CLS (NCA) or MT (ASCP) certification - Ability to communicate effectively in English - Laboratory equipment operation skills - Preferably 1 year of general laboratory experience Job Description: - Analyze specimens according to section procedures and policies - Apply test procedures accurately and report results as per laboratory policy - Must meet CLIA 88 requirements for performing high complexity testing - Responsible to Laboratory Director - Required to handle potentially infectious materials and hazardous chemicals - Ability to move laboratory supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds
