As a Product Program Director, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success. This position will report into the Data organization and lead our PMO portfolio capabilities. A Product Program Director will help achieve strategic alignment across multiple ARTs, manage organizational level risks and help teams optimize business outcomes.
They will monitor progress of all projects in the program and ensures timely and effective communication in terms of cost, forecast, schedule, and assessment of risks/issues.
The Product Program Director will lead scrum masters, project managers and formulate program organizational structure and objectives.
How you will make an impact:Proven leadership experience with managing professional staffExperience working in the Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) model Program Management: Ability to effectively manage and coordinate multiple ongoing initiatives within the program to achieve its objectivesAgile Fluency: Expertise with agile frameworksCommunication: Ability to effectively articulate and convey complex ideas, information, and messages to various stakeholders (written and verbal)Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively engage, manage, and build trust amongst stakeholders (including executives)Prioritization: Ability to understand the organization’s strategic goals and objectives and align planning and delivery activities with strategic prioritiesRisk Management: Ability to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact the program’s successInfluence: Ability to persuade and motivate others to align with program’s goals, objectives, and desired outcomesFacilitation: Ability to effectively guide and facilitate Agile routines, meetings, and workshops within the programCoaching / Continuous Planning & Delivery: Ability to support and guide individuals and teams in enhancing / maturing product management maturity and foster a culture of Continuous Planning & DeliveryCollaboration: Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional leaders and technical teamsTechnical Aptitude: Knowledge of the technology driving the productAccountable for the performance and results of a team within the PMO discipline The experience you bring:8+ years of product / program management or related experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related disciplineProficiency in agile frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, Kanban, XPExperience with analyzing data to identify insights, create hypotheses for testing, and improving ways of working across a program with multiple teams (e.g., for an Agile Release Train)Proven experience in People leadership, coaching and mentoring program, project managers and scrum masters. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale products / programs with multiple delivery teamsExperienced in implementing and managing Lean Portfolio Management practices to drive efficiency, alignment, and value creation across multiple initiativesExperience working with multiple program management frameworks / hybrid environments

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay. $175,860.00 - $214,940.00
