Piasecki has developed and flown more than 25 different advanced VTOL and UAV aircraft and continues to develop cutting-edge vertical flight technologies.
SUMMARY:
The Piasecki Aircraft Corporation Document Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization's documentation and presentation needs through the creation, organization, and management of materials using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and similar tools. This role involves translating technical requirements into polished and presentable formats while maintaining high standards of accuracy, clarity, and organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, edit, and maintain documentation, presentations, and spreadsheets to meet organizational needs. Collaborate with various departments to gather and clarify technical requirements for materials. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all documents and presentations. Proactively manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. Maintain version control and organization of files and templates in compliance with company policies. Provide administrative support for data entry, formatting, and process documentation. Assist in training staff on best practices for using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Participate in team meetings to stay updated on project priorities and deliverables. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with similar tools is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong technical aptitude for understanding and conveying complex information. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative on tasks and projects. Commitment to meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / CLEARANCES:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Communications, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or equivalent experience). Previous experience or internship in documentation, presentation design, or related fields is preferred. Must meet export control compliance requirements as a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
