Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer. In this role, you will lead web design efforts across multiple digital properties, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure brand consistency. Key Responsibilities: Design Systems Management:
Leverage atomic design principles to design, expand, and advance our corporate websites' design system. User-Centered Design:
Craft intuitive, streamlined user experiences to help users easily find what they need. Team Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams, drive projects forward, and take initiative to strategize and execute effectively. Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, business strategists, UX researchers, developers, and other stakeholders. Brand Consistency:
Uphold and advance modern digital brand standards to create meaningful and engaging experiences. Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of agency experience designing digital products and websites. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe design tools. Experience with atomic design principles and enterprise-level design systems. Background in UX research, including gathering user data and applying insights to improve information architecture, user experiences, and visual design. Strong consulting, team leadership, and client relationship management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present wireframes and designs to stakeholders. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge of front-end development is a plus but not required. Keys to Success:
Self-starter with a strategic mindset and the ability to connect the dots. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. This is a hybrid role based in McLean, VA, with an in-office schedule of Tuesday through Thursday. Contract Type:
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential to transition to full-time employment, contingent on performance and mutual agreement. Upon conversion, the role offers an annual salary of $120,000. Application Process:

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
