We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the non-profit industry, located in Elmhurst, Illinois. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Your work will involve a detailed examination of financial transactions and preparation of reports.

Responsibilities
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain and update financial records such as receipts, invoices and other transactions
• Ensure accurate account reconciliation on a regular basis
• Handle billing activities efficiently
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Utilize skills in Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient operation
• Act as a Customer Service Representative for the finance department, resolving customer inquiries effectively
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage outgoing payments to suppliers.

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations for accurate and efficient revenue management.

• Proficiency in Billing processes to ensure timely issuance and payment of invoices.

• Solid skills in Data Entry, crucial for maintaining accurate financial records.

• Experience in Invoice Processing, including verifying and posting transactions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of Oracle financial software for managing accounting operations.

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing and paying bills, invoicing clients, and conducting payroll functions.

• Familiarity with SAP software for streamlining accounting processes.
