We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the High Tech - Electronics industry, based in WHITE PLAINS, New York. As the Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in preparing financial statements for internal and external reporting, supervising daily accounting activities, and developing systems for financial data collection, analysis, verification, and reporting.
Responsibilities
• Supervise, monitor, and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial data.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries after compiling and analyzing financial information.
• Conduct financial analysis, including research to explain fluctuations in inventory, product costs, reserves, expenses, and other key accounts.
• Support annual audit requests and ensure department’s compliance with ICOFR.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems to enhance operational efficiency and growth.
• Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc analysis and duties as directed.
• Act as a mentor, managing and developing a high-functioning accounting team.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Demonstrated knowledge in BlackLine
• Familiarity with Concur
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Auditing
• Ability to handle Billing Functions
