Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a local county government that is seeking an Office Assistant for a contract that is scheduled to last 2-3 months with the possibility of extension. This role will be assisting several employees with office tasks and duties supporting a specialized county program. This position pays $15/hr. Responsibilities:
  • Enter and update data into software systems and on spreadsheets
  • Prepare various mailings to be sent out
  • Monitor the email inbox and respond to basic questions and forward emails to other members of the department
  • Maintain paper and electronic files
  • Follow up with property owners with payment reminders
  • Back up the receptionist when needed
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 1 year of office experience
  • A positive can do attitude and willingness to jump in and learn
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check
