Baptist Church is hiring: Janitorial Custodian in Spring

The janitorial custodian is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of the building. Makes sure the building is clean and in orderly condition. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the items below.

Clean windows and mirrors.

Remove trash from all trash cans and take it to dumpster.

Wipe down and sanitize surfaces.

Clean, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

Organize the cleaning supply closet and store all supplies.

Weekly inventory of janitorial supplies

Completes minor repairs, such as unclogging toilets.

Notifies maintenance when major repairs are needed.

Fills out cleaning and maintenance checklists at the end of every shift.

Locks the doors at the end of night shifts.

Follows safety rules and precautions.

Adheres to company policies and procedures.
