Senior Software Development Engineer, Amazon Pay
Digital Payments off Amazon is a very large opportunity for us. Growing at 12% YoY, it is estimated that global ecommerce spend will exceed $15T in 2027. And digital wallet usage will constitute more than 50% of global ecommerce spend by 2025. Amazon Pay (APay) is our product in this space, and we feel we can provide compelling customer experience. There are unmet merchant and customer needs that we are best positioned to address – merchants need increased conversion, sales, and profits. Buyers want consistent access to payment methods they’d like to use, and better financing.
We have, and are building, the primitives across Amazon Payments to address these needs better for our customers. For merchants our plan is to build a no-friction, competitively priced APay, which enables industry leading conversion lift with Alternate Payment Methods (APM) and Buy with Prime (BwP). For buyers we are building Amazon proprietary payment methods (Amazon Store Card, Amazon Gift Card), and industry leading installment rates.
As the Senior Software Development Engineer for APay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our payment systems to deliver an unparalleled personalized and rewarding experience for our customers.
