Production Manager Qualifications or Skills:

  • General Computer skills: Works, Excel, Google Drive, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Ability to speak, read & write in English
  • Ability to follow work rules
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • College degree preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or five years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures required.

Production Manager Job Duties:

  • Direct and manage plant operations for production.
  • Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Implement cost-effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries.
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production standards.
  • Control and minimize labor expense.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
  • Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
  • Provide direction, development, and leadership to production supervisor.
  • PPE must be worn.
  • Ensure customer requirements are being met.
  • Responsible for 5S in Work Area.
  • Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules.
  • Required participation in semi-annual work reviews.
  • Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • ISO 9001: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Automotive Production: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
