Title: Account Executive Reports to : Head of Sales at The Hill Location: New York (Hybrid) Position Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales performance and meeting and exceeding revenue targets for The Hill, across all platforms: digital, print, live events, sponsored content, etc. Will work closely with clients and agencies and ensure The Hill as a 'must-buy' for advertisers to reach and engage audiences at scale across linear and digital platforms, leveraging the portfolio. Will grow and manage agency holding company and client relationships. Will perform with a client first approach and ensure impact using the full breadth of The Hill's and Nexstar's portfolio. Responsibilities include: Achieve revenue and growth targets across print, live events and digital. Identify and execute strategies for penetrating the national corporate thought leadership market versus brands such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Economist, etc. that result in exceeding revenue targets. Sell integrated custom cross-platform sponsorship partnerships for reaching The Hill's large, highly qualified national audience Grow and manage agency holding company relationships Develop and manage key client / advertiser relationships and evangelize The Hill's full suite of content and ad product offerings. Nurture and enhance relationships to become a more advanced resource for our clients Focus on helping clients/advertisers utilize innovative data and technology solutions to deliver high value precision targeting Remain current with competitive publications and the overall marketplace Understand client's needs, prepare sales plans, proposals and (pitch) presentations. Identify new business; develop new relationships with key marketing/media decision makers. Identify go to market strategies for sponsorships Accelerate revenue growth by extending and championing improved technologies and workflows across the org.
