The AppleCare Business Development Manager for Insurance Partnerships is responsible for developing partnerships and managing the relationship with insurance provider partners in support of AppleCare Services products within the AppleCare Business Development organization. As a member of the worldwide team, the Business Development Manager for Insurance Partnerships will have the opportunity to develop and scale AppleCare service solutions through new routes to market and strategic partnerships globally. In addition to being part of the AppleCare Business Development team, this person will collaborate with Apple's sales team, legal and finance organizations, field service and channel solutions organizations, external insurance and resale partners, and other Apple organizations supporting these programs. The individual will build relationships across geographies to develop scalable programs aimed at successfully enabling sales plays through channel, carrier, and other routes to market, serve as a subject matter expert in device protection offerings, and deliver insights on sales performance. Description - Lead account management responsibilities for key insurance provider relationships globally to establish, manage, and grow device protection and service solution offerings. This includes developing critical initiatives with partners as well as being a primary Apple lead on partner's engagement with supporting Apple teams. - Constantly screen market for opportunities, create cases/propositions for cross functional partners to secure consensuses to implement. - Create and lead repeatable programs and playbooks intended to scale global sales plays across channel, carrier, and other routes to market. - Establish new route-to-market strategies to advance industry, partner, and channel opportunities - Participate in, and serve as a subject matter expert for, the development and implementation of strategic sales plays and new solution offerings - Work across worldwide and regional teams to provide expertise, repeatable standard methodologies, and project management for the successful rollout, activation, and support of sales plays via appropriate routes to market - Partner cross-functionally to establish and report key performance indicators, track program results against intended business outcomes, and assess overall effectiveness of the programs Minimum Qualifications Approximately 8 years in business development or strategy roles Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Proven track record of successfully managing C-level and senior-level relationships both internally and with external customers and partners to deliver sales Background in insurance, device protection, channel or carrier operations, sales operations, sales go to market teams, and/or Apple's sales and operations Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with channel or carrier operations covering partner authorizations, programs, incentives, and relationship management is highly preferred Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners Outstanding analytical skills and comfort with: return on investment analyses, identification and measurement of program critical metrics and analyzing sales/financial data Strong organization skills and attention to detail; Ability to prioritize, lead, and advance multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability. Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
