ROLE COMMITMENTS
Develop and Implement a Strategic Marketing Project Framework
- Design and launch a standardized project management framework tailored to marketing initiatives.
- Ensure processes are optimized for cross-functional alignment with finance, operations, and creative teams.
Enhance Budget Accountability and Financial Transparency
- Collaborate with finance to establish clear budgeting protocols for marketing campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign ROI, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and maintain effective communication pipelines between marketing, finance, and other departments.
- Serve as the liaison to ensure business priorities are integrated into marketing deliverables.
Deliver High-Impact Marketing Programs on Time and Budget
- Oversee and manage the execution of marketing projects, meeting deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Use data-driven insights to prioritize initiatives that align with organizational growth goals.
Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement
- Establish KPIs for project management performance and identify areas for process optimization.
- Host quarterly reviews with stakeholders to refine workflows and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Project Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex marketing projects across multiple teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Financial Acumen:
- Develop and present business cases, including ROI analysis, to support marketing initiatives.
- Partner with finance to manage budgets, forecast expenses, and monitor financial performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing, sales, product, finance, and operations teams.
- Serve as a central point of contact to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Process Development & Optimization:
- Implement best practices in project management, including the use of tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase team effectiveness and project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in marketing.
- Proven experience working in a matrixed environment and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in creating business cases and managing budgets.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, or similar).
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
