Senior Linux System Engineer

Job Description

As a senior Linux system engineer, you will use the latest technologies to modernize infrastructure, including migrating Servers/ applications to the cloud by coding, testing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure automation services on Gallup's global platform. You will work with a technology team including storage cloud engineers, network engineers, Linux administrators and cloud administrators to set up integration and support Linux environments.

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or a related field required
• At least five years of experience with Red Hat AWS Linux server administration required
• At least five years of experience with Datacenter or infrastructure required: Firmware upgrade and migration, Datacenter consolidation, server commissioning and decommissioning
• At least five years of experience working with the following technologies required: Scripting (Bash), NFS Server, DNS, Linux KVM virtualization (VMware equivalent), SAN Storage, Backup management
• At least five years of experience working in AWS cloud technologies like EC2, S3, Cloudwatch
• Any Professional experience working with Python, Jenkins, docker, AWS SSM, AWS Backup, IAM, hardware upgrades including Dell Power Edge R720 and Disaster Recovery (DR) activity
