Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • User-Centered Design: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather user requirements and create intuitive and efficient UI solutions. Develop designs based on user journeys, business needs, and customer feedback, ensuring the best user experience.
  • Data Visualization: Design and develop insightful visual representations of complex data to aid in decision-making and help users easily interpret performance metrics.
  • Prototyping and Wireframing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to demonstrate layout, functionality, and flow of the product. Utilize tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and others to develop interactive prototypes.
  • Workflow Analysis and Optimization: Analyze current workflows, conduct usability testing, and apply heuristic analyses to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure the design supports user needs and business goals.
  • Usability Testing: Lead and conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and iterate on improvements based on feedback. Test applications in collaboration with stakeholders and end users to ensure the best usability.
  • Agile Methodology: Participate in agile design sprints, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design process in an agile environment.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, IT, customer service, and executive leadership teams to incorporate feedback, align on requirements, and deliver cohesive design solutions.
  • Maintain Design Consistency: Develop and maintain a cohesive style guide to ensure a consistent design language across all products. Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices to keep the UI/UX approach current and user-focused.
  • Performance Optimization: Contribute to performance optimization projects, ensuring the product is responsive, fast, and meets user expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in Financial Services: Proven experience in working on UI/UX projects within the financial sector or similar industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization: Expertise in designing clear, actionable visualizations of complex data to enhance user understanding and decision-making.
  • Agile Experience: Comfortable working in an Agile environment, with experience participating in sprints and iterative design cycles.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external teams.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with performance optimization projects.
  • Knowledge of the latest UI/UX design trends, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other design software.


Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 45,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 158,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
