Director, Partner Success

The Director of Partner Success leads the team responsible for the day-to-day representation of our agency book of business, acts as the executive sponsor for our top-line client relationships, and owns initiatives tied to the development and revenue growth of the agency's growing client base. This strategic role involves nurturing executive-level relationships with clients, managing a high-performing account team, balancing advocacy for client needs with the long-term growth of our agency business, and embodying the spirit of our agency as market leader in the digital marketing space. The ideal candidate is a highly focused team leader with a strong background in project management, account leadership and development, and in-depth digital marketing industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Client Leadership
  • Develop and oversee account growth strategies, ensuring alignment between account owners and higher-level agency growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain senior-level client relationships, serving as the primary executive contact and aligning agency efforts with client objectives.
  • Develop strategies and processes to lead team to identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing client accounts to maximize revenue and partnership longevity.
  • Support the agency's revenue growth targets through a proactive approach to upselling services and expanding client scopes.


Operational Excellence & Process Management
  • Ensure adherence to agency best practices across all documentation, budgets, and client project briefs to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Coordinate and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, optimizing efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee regular project and budget reviews, forecasting revenue and addressing potential gaps or variances.
  • Implement systematic processes for tracking and reporting client activities, ensuring clear communication and accountability across teams.


Team Development & Collaboration
  • Develop programs and processes that foster an authentic ownership mindset for the account teams, emphasizing proactivity, responsiveness, strategic storytelling, and a foundational client-first mindset
  • Mentor and provide growth opportunities for junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by aligning internal teams (media activation, analytics, operations, etc.) on client goals and deliverables.
  • Facilitate open communication within the team to ensure alignment with agency-wide objectives and share best practices.
  • Identify and retain top talent, offering constructive feedback and succession planning to cultivate the next generation of client leaders.


Data-Driven Performance & Innovation
  • In collaboration with media activation, leverage data and analytics to strategically communicate performance optimizations across all digital campaigns and activities, ensuring measurable results, account growth and maximization of agency profitability.
  • Lead innovation initiatives by assessing emerging technologies and strategies and identifying opportunities to leverage these solutions with key accounts.
  • Help lead cross-functional organizational efforts to educate team members on data proficiency, analytics, and measurement, fostering a data-driven, performance culture within the agency.

  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of digital marketing, CRM and performance analytics coupled with a proven track record in enterprise client service to continue to grow the agency's capability set and provide top-tier strategic service to clients.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset & Drive for Results: Be comfortable operating as a self-starter focused on delivering results through innovative client strategies, demonstrating strong organizational and follow-up skills to drive success.
  • Collaboration: Effective at working cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver high-quality presentations and proposals.


Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of agency account management experience, with client ARV $500k+
  • 5+ years of team management experience, preferably in the digital, strategic marketing, sales and/or analytics space
  • Demonstrable success working cross-functionally developing digital marketing strategy, products, platforms and services
  • Strong leadership, organizational and prioritization skills with consistent experience meeting tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of maintaining and developing executive-level client relationships
  • Working knowledge of media buying and analytics platforms (Google Marketing Platform, The Trade Desk, Meta, Google Ads, Tableau, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.), preferably in Business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred
